Frog Umbrella

 Hello everyone!

Today we enjoyed making a colorful umbrella craft to welcome the rainy season! The umbrella cutout was frog shaped 🐸 

First, children explored bright colored cellophane pieces. They covered their eyes with cellophane and experienced the changing colors.

Then children placed them inside the transparent part of the umbrella cutout.

This helped develop their fine motor skills while encouraging creativity and color recognition.

The children practiced sticking the colorful pieces onto the sticky tape, watching how the different colors overlapped and created beautiful patterns. They were excited to see their umbrellas become bright and unique.

During the activity, we reviewed vocabulary such as umbrella, rain, colorful, blue, pink, orange, yellow, and sky. The children enjoyed repeating the words and pointing to the different colors they could see.

Next we put the eyes and few draw the happy face too.

It was a fun seasonal craft that combined creativity, hands-on learning, and language development while celebrating the rainy weather. ☔✨

Cow Craft 🐮

 Hello everyone!

This week, we enjoyed making a fluffy cow craft using soft tissue paper and  different body parts cutouts.🐮 The children crumpled the soft paper and placed it into a plastic bag to create the cow’s body, creating a fluffy and puffy appearance.

Next, the children added black spots to their cows. They enjoyed sticking the pieces on and watching their cows come to life. 

Then, the children made the cow’s face. They stuck dot stickers on for the eyes and added the horns and mouth cutouts. Some made a happy face, others chose to draw a funny face. It was a wonderful feeling to see each cow’s face come together!

During the activity, we reviewed animal vocabulary such as cow, ears, mouth and spots, as well as the colors black and white. The children happily pointed to different parts of their cows as they listened to words.

Each cow turned out unique and adorable!

5月の振り返り🎏

 こんにちは♪ハーモニープリスクールです☺️

5月に入りどんどんと暑さが厳しい日が増えてきましたね💦それでも子ども達は毎日元気いっぱいです✨

5月はこどもの日の集いがあり、皆の手形で鯉のぼりを作成しましたよ🎏

1人ずつ兜も作りました✨1人1人色が違い、好きな色を選んで子どもたちは何を作るのかわくわくしていました😆

兜が完成すると、鯉のぼりの下で記念撮影です😊

皆とっても似合っていましたよ✨子どもたちがこれからも元気いっぱいですくすく大きくなれますように☺️

お外遊びではお天気の良い日はたくさん公園に行きました✨

梅雨に入ると雨の中をお散歩しに行くので楽しみにしてて下さいね☂️

そして、今日は5月のお誕生日会がありました🎂

とっても可愛い決めポーズをしてくれました🩷

色々と好きなものをインタビューすると、好きな色はピンク、好きなキャラクターはジョージなどしっかりと受け答えしてくれましたよ🎤

その後は保育者の出し物ではらぺこあおむしのペープサートを見て楽しんだ子ども達です♪

来月からは２歳さんは歯ブラシが始まったり、梅雨遊びもあり、さらに保育参観もあり楽しみがたくさんありますよ😊

6月も元気に登園してきて下さいね♪

Broccoli and Tomato craft

Today, our little learners enjoyed the tomato and broccoli sticker activity! 🍅🥦

The children used colorful dot stickers to decorate the tomato and broccoli shapes, helping to strengthen their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. 

They carefully peeled and placed the stickers.

Some children enjoyed peeling the stickers independently, while others practiced pressing them onto the paper with support. children enjoyed using red and green crayons to color match the broccoli and tomato.

During the activity, we reviewed vegetable vocabulary such as “tomato,” “broccoli,” “red,” and “green” through simple conversations and playful interaction.

It was wonderful to see everyone concentrating, exploring, and proudly showing their finished creations. Everyone did a wonderful job today!
