Today’s activity on the 25th of April “Carp streamer”🎏
Koinobori are carp streamer in Japanese.The colourful carp kites are hung in the wind to celebrate children's day. 🧒👦🎏
So for today's activity we made a koi-shaped windsock where koi fish represents the members of the family.
We first talked about the koinobori and it’s relevance to the Children’s day and then after listening to the instructions, children started making there own colorful creations.
The younger children rolled the colorful paper and filled it into a transparent plastic bag and decorated eyes and tail with craft paper.
The older kids enjoyed making the windsock by stamping different textures on the pre-cut koi fish paper cutouts.
Let’s decorate it with glittery paper using the glue.
