Today we made a paper plate sheep craft. With this simple craft, the kids could learn the new words; "sheep" and "wool" while having fun with a lot of shredded paper. We could also review "face, eyes, and legs".
We started by learning about the sheep and singing the sheep song.
Now let's move on to the fun part. Let's make our sheep. Yeah!!
The kids kept adding the wool (shredded paper) to the sheep's body until it was all covered with wool.
Then they started adding the face, ears, and legs. Then finished the sheep with two googly eyes to give the sheep a funny face.
It was a little messy, but the kids enjoyed exploring the texture of the shredded paper.
At the end, we got little shaggy paper plate sheep. Their expressions can definitely make you smile 😁
The kids LOVED making these little sheeps!
And we can't wait till next week's activity.
