vegetable garden

Today's craft is a vegetable garden! 🍆🥬🥕🌽

 

Kids will be planting vegetables through their craft! The vegetables are squash , eggplant, cabbage, and broccoli.

 

Kids 0 years old used small plastic bags to make an eggplant 🍆and a tomato🍅. They first put the colored orange origami for the tomato and the purple origami for the eggplant. And then tied it, and then stuck on its top the green tomato leaves and dark purple leaves for the eggplant.

 

Using the double-sided tape, kids 1-2 years old first stick clouds and the sun onto the blue paper represented as the sky.

 Then we give each of them a piece of white paper cut into vegetables for them to stamp on with colors. They used colored light green paint for the cabbage, purple for the eggplant, dark green for the broccoli, and orange for the squash.

 

After stamping them with their colors, they stick them into the brown paper that serves as the soil.

今週も暑さや梅雨のお天気に負けず、子供たちは元気いっぱい！！

ピンクチームさんは「織姫・彦星」を作りました☺️保育者と一緒にシールをペタッと貼って可愛い

のができました✨

公園では砂遊びもしましたよ♪

砂をニギニギ感触を楽しんだりおもちゃを使って上手に遊べています☺️

室内ではマットのお山を登って、みんな楽しんでいました♪

イエローチームさんも七夕の製作「流れ星」を作りました！シールをペタッと貼るのも上手になってきましたよ😃

 

大好きな公園では、遊具で遊んだり虫を探したり、歩くのも上手になってきました✨

ブルーチームさんも公園遊びを思いっきり楽しみました🎵

ちょうちょを見つけると「待て待て〜！」とみんなで追いかけっこ☺️

「あ！ちょうちょいた！！」「どこー？」「ここにもいてる！」とお友達に教えてあげて走り回って遊んでいますよ♪

イエローチームさんとブルーチームさんは梅雨遊びもしました☂️レインコートを着て長靴を履いて嬉しそうに歩いていましたよ☺️

大きな水たまりを見つけると、パチャンとジャンプしてみたり、ぬかるんだ地面の感触を楽しんだり、泥んこになって遊びました✨

来週から水遊びが始まります♪

Vegetable sensory play

Hello everyone!

We hope you had a relaxing weekend! Today, in relation to the monthly theme “Vegetables”, we had vegetable sensory play. Children were able to experience touching and smelling real vegetables!

We explored about the green vegetables using spinach, cabbage, zucchini, and bell peppers.🥬🫑🥒

 First, they touched and lift the cabbage and feel its weight. Then each of them got some spinach and smelled it.

They then touched zucchini and got slices of it.

It is so much fun playing with it!

While discovering its sizes and its weight, we added to the table the bell pepper, and each of them had a slice of it! Kids indeed enjoyed playing with real vegetables!

Using real vegetables for kids to touch offers countless opportunities for amazement and curiosity. Since they are able to touch it, smell it, compare its weight and sizes, and appreciate its appearance both inside and out.

Here are their faces, showing joy while feeding their curiosity.
