This months theme being Insects and Vegetables, we made a butterfly 🦋 today for our little learners who are just beginning to explore colors, textures and creative expressions.
We started with a story book “A beautiful butterfly” that helped in building up the curiosity.
This week’s activity gave children the chance to play with colors, feel different textures and try out new fine motor skills.
We used a precut Big butterfly shapes, origami paper, glue, crayon and stickers.
Each child got their own butterfly cutout and materials to decorate the wings and express themselves through creative choices.
In the end teachers added the antennas and a straw to hold the butterfly.
Done!
No two butterflies looked the same.
