English activity on 2nd of February " Setsubun celebration"
Setsubun celebrates the transition from winter ❄️☃ to spring 🌸
So today we celebrated Setsubun by throwing beans on demon balloons .👹
As soy beans were little scary for the yonger children, we made beans with newspaper.
Let's make beans
Big bigger even bigger
Beans are ready!! 👍
Children put on their Demon headbands
I m stronger now
Let's start !!
With full energy and big voice children said
"Oni wa Soto, Fuku wa uchi"
Targeting Demon balloons with newspaper beans was so much fun and not at all scary.
We ate setsubun special menu!
ONI (demon) rice with scrambled egg!!
