Today’s activity on the 20th of June “carrots in the garden”. We have been learning about the vegetables this month and, since we did the green vegetables earlier this month, we chose to review a different color vegetable; an orange carrot. We made a carrot patch with children using stamp and paint.
The little ones used the orange crayons and glued the orange paper to learn the color of carrot.🥕
Older children started using the color orange to stamp the carrots cutouts.
Next we used the brown paint and the bubble wrap to stamp over the carrots to give the illusion of soil.
Know let it dry!
Look our carrots patch is ready.
With this carrot craft we made the kids learn a little about how the carrots grow and reviewed the color vocabulary.
See you next week🙂
