English activity on 6th of June “vegetable sensory play”
Focusing on this month’s theme we explored the vegetables through sensory play.
We picked the color green and introduced green pepper 🫑, spinach, 🥬cabbage and cucumber 🥒
Children observed the difference between whole vegetables and sliced vegetables.
Look it has seeds inside!
We talked about the different textures and smell of vegetables and encouraged children to repeat words like “rough” and “smooth”.
The little ones wanted to put the vegetables in their mouth😋. The cucumber feels so cool to touch.
This is refreshing!
Time to make some green salad🥗
It was nice to know about the vegetables we eat!
