We have been doing vegetables for this month and today we tried stamping with vegetables.🫑🥔
We used potato, okra, bell peppers, lotus root and bok-choy.
Children experienced the difference in texture of vegetables.
We gave children their piece of sheet to start stamping.
Children enjoy choosing the vegetables; dipping them into the color and stamping on the paper.
So colorful!
Later, few children started to smear the colors across the paper to make “rainbows”.
We let the paint dry and made colorful salad plate.🥗
This activity turned out to be a wonderful opportunity for sensory exploration and vocabulary building by discussing the names of different vegetables, colors and textures.
See you next week🙂
