As we are focusing on fruit theme this month and since, children had started recognizing the fruits and there colors.
Today we reviewed the fruits with an adorable fruit parfait cup craft that brings all the colorful, layered fun of a parfait without any mess.
Supplies we used:
Clear cups, stickers, colorful tissue papers, pillow stuffing, pom-poms and fruits cutouts.
We started by giving each child a clear cup which they freely decorated using stickers.
Then children crumbled tissue paper to create fruit and cream layers. Kids used different craft supplies to build their own parfait.
As kids gently pressed the colored pieces into the cup in layers, teacher encouraged them to think about the order: cream, fruit, cream more fruit.
Lastly we added pillow stuffing on top as cream and finished it by putting in a rolled wafer.
It looks delicious 😋
Children created the cutest parfait using their imagination and creativity.
